Camille Bildsøe is a Danish documentary filmmaker based in Copenhagen. With more than 12 years of experience in the film industry, she began her career collaborating with acclaimed directors including Lin Alluna, Mikala Krogh, Tomas Gislason, and Morgan Spurlock, while steadily developing her own artistic voice.
Having lived and worked in conflict zones such as Palestine, Camille has developed a perspective that deeply informs her documentary practice. She is drawn to stories from regions shaped by conflict and political upheaval. This is reflected in her latest feature documentary, If Luck Will Come, filmed over several years in Afghanistan. The film follows a group of children whose voices are rarely heard. It had its world premiere at CPH:DOX and will have its international premiere at the Locarno Film Festival. Accustomed to working in high-risk environments with limited production resources, Camille creates the best possible conditions for both her crew and participants. She believes in the ethical responsibility of documentary filmmaking, maintaining that those she films should be able to recognize themselves in their portrayal. This approach is built on trust, openness, and an ongoing dialogue with her participants.

Drawn to intimate spaces, she observes with precision and sensitivity, capturing moments of profound humanity in extraordinary circumstances. Her films allow characters to unfold naturally while remaining guided by a clear and distinctive directorial vision.
Jonas Skovbjerg Fogh is a Copenhagen-based cinematographer with a background in photojournalism from the Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX). Since graduating in 2016, he has worked as an independent cinematographer, specialising in documentary storytelling.
Originally trained as a still photographer, Jonas transitioned into cinematography through years of hands-on experience, developing a visual language rooted in observation, empathy, and authenticity. His work has taken him to countries including Rwanda, Afghanistan, Greenland, Mexico, Kyrgyzstan, and Palestine, documenting stories across cultures and communities.
His documentary work has received the Danish Press Photo Award for Visual Story of the Year (TV/Web), and continues to explore human experiences with a quiet, intimate approach. Whether filming feature documentaries or short-form nonfiction, Jonas is drawn to stories that create genuine connection through honest and visually immersive cinematography.
Sofie Husum Johannesen is a producer, co-director, and line producer working across fiction and documentary at Danish production company Elk Film. With a background in Visual Anthropology, her work is driven by a strong interest in character-driven storytelling and the intersection between documentary practice and cinematic form.
As part of Elk Film’s producing team, she develops and produces documentary projects. Previously, she served as Production Manager at Dinner&Docs, where she oversaw more than 250 documentary screenings and talks across Denmark.
Her recent credits include As the Tide Comes In, which she co-directed and line produced, premiering in competition at IDFA in 2023; If Luck Will Come, which she produced and which premiered nationally in the Next:Wave competition at CPH:DOX 2026 before having its international premiere at the Locarno Film Festival; and RESCUE, which she produced and which will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2026.
